No Land? No Problem.

I could tell you I have acres of land and perfect soil. The truth? I don’t. I live in an apartment in Albany, GA. My garden space is about 10×40 feet. Concrete. Small. Limited.

But I grow anyway. In buckets. In recycled containers. In whatever space I have. And I use most of it.

Okra pods for dinner, leaves for tea. Lavender blooms for syrup, stems for broth. Cucumber fruit for salad, and I’m learning to use the leaves too. If I grow it, I create recipes for the parts we usually throw away. I believe God created plants for us to enjoy—and we waste a lot that we can gain benefits from.

Buckets and Blessings is proof you don’t need land to grow life. You need containers, the right soil, and recipes that honor every leaf and bloom. That someone is me. I’m learning with you. Let’s cook the whole plant, most of it at a time.

Grow it. Eat it.

Container gardening + life lessons for busy hands and grateful hearts.

Whether I’m wearing my favorite red shirt or getting my hands dirty in the soil, the mission remains the same: finding blessings in every bucket. This journey is about more than just plants; it’s about growth, gratitude, and the beauty of small spaces.
